What We Do

Professional RingCentral Installation & Network Setup

RingCentral is a powerful cloud phone platform — but call quality lives on your local network. That's the part BlueStream owns.

We handle the physical and network side of every RingCentral rollout: a readiness assessment, structured cabling and PoE for desk phones, QoS configuration for voice traffic, desk-phone provisioning, and live call testing before cutover. RingCentral delivers the calling software. We build and tune the network it runs on.

Most offices already have internet and switches — but not the voice-ready configuration RingCentral needs to perform. We size bandwidth to your line and user count, separate voice traffic onto a dedicated VLAN, and configure switches so calls never compete with other traffic.

What BlueStream handles vs. RingCentral

BlueStream handles:

  • Network assessment & bandwidth sizing
  • QoS & DSCP voice traffic prioritization
  • Dedicated voice VLAN setup
  • Structured cabling & PoE switching
  • Desk phone provisioning & testing
  • PBX migration & number porting
  • 24/7 managed network support

RingCentral handles:

  • Calling, SMS & video meetings
  • Mobile & desktop apps
  • User licenses & admin portal
  • Call recording & analytics

Our Services

Everything Your RingCentral Rollout Needs

From the first site assessment to ongoing managed support — BlueStream handles every layer of your RingCentral deployment.

Network Readiness Assessment

Before a single RingCentral phone is plugged in, we audit your bandwidth, LAN, WiFi, and switch PoE budget against your call volume. We find and fix problems before cutover — not after.

QoS & Voice VLAN Configuration

We configure Quality of Service and DSCP tagging so RingCentral voice packets get priority over all other traffic. Latency stays under 150ms and calls stay clear even during peak network usage.

Structured Cabling & PoE Switching

We run and terminate Cat6 cabling to every desk phone location, install PoE switches to power RingCentral handsets, and label every run. Clean, documented infrastructure built to last.

Desk Phone Provisioning

We provision Poly, Yealink, and Cisco handsets for RingCentral. Every phone is registered to the correct extension, tested for inbound and outbound calls, and ready before we leave.

PBX Migration & Number Porting

Moving from a legacy PBX? We manage number porting coordination, plan the cutover, and schedule the migration to minimize downtime. Most offices complete the switch over a single weekend.

How It Works

How BlueStream Deploys RingCentral

A proven four-step process that gets your RingCentral system working right — and keeps it that way.

01

Site Assessment

We audit your bandwidth, LAN, WiFi, cabling, and switch PoE budget against your RingCentral call volume. You get a written report of what needs to change before phones go live.

02

Network Design

Our engineers design the RingCentral-ready network: QoS rules, DSCP tagging, voice VLAN, PoE switching plan, and cabling runs — all sized to your headcount and call targets.

03

Installation & Provisioning

We run cabling, provision every desk phone, register extensions in RingCentral, and test call quality on the live network. You get a working system, not a work-in-progress.

04

24/7 Managed Support

BlueStream monitors your RingCentral network around the clock. We handle repairs, firmware updates, moves and adds, and multi-site changes — one number for everything.

Physical Network Foundation

Structured Cabling for RingCentral — Cat6 & Cat6a

VoIP call quality starts at the cable. We install the right cabling grade for your office size, phone count, and future bandwidth needs.

Every RingCentral installation BlueStream performs includes a structured cabling assessment. Before a single desk phone is provisioned, we verify that the physical network can carry voice traffic without packet loss or jitter — the two main causes of choppy calls.

For most small and mid-size offices, Cat6 cabling is the right choice. It supports Gigabit Ethernet at runs up to 100 meters and handles the bandwidth demands of RingCentral desk phones, softphones, and video meetings without issue.

Larger offices, high-density environments, or buildings being wired for the first time benefit from Cat6a cabling. Cat6a supports 10-Gigabit Ethernet, has better crosstalk rejection in cable bundles, and future-proofs your infrastructure for the next 15–20 years. We recommend Cat6a for any new construction, server room runs, or offices with 50+ workstations.

All cabling work is paired with PoE switch installation for desk phones, proper cable management and labeling, and a full topology diagram handed off at project close. We also handle patch panel termination, wall plate installation, and network closet organization as part of every structured cabling job.

FAQ

RingCentral Installation — Common Questions

What does a RingCentral network setup involve?

A proper RingCentral installation goes beyond just activating your account. BlueStream assesses your bandwidth, configures QoS and DSCP tagging on your switches, sets up a dedicated voice VLAN, runs and terminates cabling to desk phone locations, provisions every handset, and tests call quality before we hand the system over.

Why do I need a professional installer for RingCentral?

RingCentral is a cloud service — but call quality depends entirely on your local network. Without proper QoS, voice packets compete with regular data traffic and calls go choppy. Without a voice VLAN, troubleshooting becomes guesswork. BlueStream builds the network foundation that makes RingCentral perform the way it's supposed to.

Can BlueStream migrate us from our current phone system to RingCentral?

Yes. We handle number porting coordination, cutover planning, and the full migration from your legacy PBX or on-premise system. We schedule cutovers to minimize disruption — most offices complete the switch over a single weekend with no business-hours downtime.

Do you provision and install the RingCentral desk phones?

Yes. We provision Poly, Yealink, and Cisco handsets for RingCentral. Every phone is registered to the correct extension, tested for inbound and outbound calls, and labeled before we leave. We also set up the RingCentral app on computers and mobile devices.

Do you support multi-site RingCentral deployments?

Yes. BlueStream deploys and manages RingCentral across multiple office locations, ensuring consistent cabling, QoS configuration, and phone setup at every site. One provider, one standard, one support number.

What areas do you serve?

BlueStream serves businesses throughout Florida, including Orlando, Ocala, The Villages, Lakeland, Tampa, Gainesville, and surrounding areas. We also support businesses nationwide for remote configuration and managed support.
